ATP – Authorized Training Partner

ATP - Authorized Training Partner is the qualification that PMI® - Project Management Institute issues to companies that have adhered to the quality standards required to be able to provide certified project management training. This means contents, teaching methods, tests developed directly by PMI®, and delivered exclusively by trainers in possession of the «PMI®-ATP Instructor» badge. The testing ground is the new PMP® - Project Management Professional certification which will be active from January 2nd, 2021. It is a certification that ranges over all project management approaches (predictive, incremental, iterative, adaptive, hybrid) and that is based on ten reference books including the PMBOK® 7th edition and the APG - Agile Practice Guide. With no doubt, an important challenge for companies that invest and for candidates who commit themselves. Therefore, relying on an ATP becomes crucial to ensure the return on investment. As well as knowing how to recognize suppliers not authorized by PMI®. PMI® publishes the ATP register (www.pmi.org). The new ATP qualification replaces the previous REP - Registered Education Provider qualification, which is no longer valid from December 31th, 2020. Obviously the transition from REP to ATP is neither automatic nor taken for granted. PMLAB®, REP (n.1612) since 2002, has promptly joined the ATP program, in the firm belief that it can offer its customers high quality training and in line with the evolution of the project management discipline.
